Minestrone

1 pound bulk mild Italian sausage
1 can pinto beans
1 can garbanzo beans
6 cups water
1 can Italian stewed tomatoes
2 cans tomato sauce
1 cup rigatoni (noodles) (use egg-free noodles for egg-free)(use gluten-free noodles for gluten-free)
1 teaspoon crushed oregano leaf
2 beef bouillon cubes
1-2 onions, chopped
2 (1 gram) celery stalks, sliced
2 (1 gram) carrots, sliced
1 Tablespoon dried parsley OR 3 Tablespoons fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon sweet basil, crushed
salt/pepper
garlic salt



  1. Brown pork (sausage).
  2. Drain browned pork.
  3. Dissolve bouillon cubes in water.
  4. Add everything but beans and noodles.
  5. Simmer 6 hours 
  6. 30 minutes before serving add undrained beans and uncooked noodles (or rigatoni).
