1 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 cup salad oil, oleo oil, or shortening
1 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
- Pour boiling water over oats.
- Let stand while preparing the following:
- Sift together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
- Add sugar, eggs, oil, then add oatmeal.
- Mix well.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until done (in a 11x15 inch pan, bake about 20 minutes).
